Dr. Richard Canizares obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine in June 2007. From July 2007- June 2008 he completed his postgraduate training in general dentistry at the Montefiore Medical Hospital in New York. From June 2008- July 2011 he completed his specialty training in Proshodontics at University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine. After receiving his certificate in Prostodontics, he completed a postgraduate training in Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA, University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Canizares strongly believes in patient education, personalized service, and long-term patient relationships. He strives to stay up to date with all the changes occurring in dentistry by undertaking untold hours of continuing education.
